Life At Two.

I took this today of a two year old name Oskar (a member of my extended family who wants to be a fireman when he grows up). I really love this image. I think it captures who he is and his outlook on life... at 2 years old.

New Trick

A year ago I came upon an australian (Matt Hoyle) portrait photographer's website. His images were so amazing it hurt.

I had no idea how he had done it. I would have described them as having a "hyper real skip bleach" quality. The image that stood out was a disheveled, hairy biker with crystal blue eyes on the beach... in a speedo...

He looked... heroic.

A talented friend has just introduced me to what that photographer did to create that quality in his images.... I'm hooked.

Here are my first attempts:
