Year of the Yellow...

Three dahlias planted on the deck... Last year I got one good (enormous) flower from the "Best In Show" dahlia. This year the "Best In Show" is "Crap". The ivory palace I was so looking forward to photographing is even worse... But the one my grandfather calls a "yellow" is doing well and has a huge bud opening. You will be seeing a lot of this bud as it becomes a flower.
